VisAbility is a diverse organisation with a range of careers and occupations. Our staff include therapists, skilled support officers and professional managers.
We aim to promote strategies and policies to ensure both women and men are equally valued and rewarded.
In 2015, we opted to register and report to the Workplace Gender Equality Act, proving to have a successful track record of gender equality employment, and equal opportunity in the workplace.
The Workplace Gender Equality Agency is an Australian Government statutory agency created by the Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012. The Government body is responsible for promoting and improving gender equality in Australian workplaces.
We know that policies and strategies cannot just live on paper. They have to be implemented and the outcomes monitored and managers, executives and boards made accountable for the results.
We are focused on building a culture of high trust and performance, where staff can grow and flourish. So that they pursue their areas of passion and expertise, feel supported by our values of equity and fairness, and become leaders and managers for the future.
We are an organisation that is fully committed to providing a supportive team environment and family friendly working conditions for all staff.
We are seeing this bring out the best in our people as they also choose to be brave and stand up in a new and changing world.
Our staff are able to access and enjoy the same opportunities, resources and rewards, regardless of gender. Find out more about joining our team.
